Are You Ready For Some Football? NFL 2011 Season Kicks Off!

Are you ready for some football? We definitely are and can’t wait for tonight when the 92nd regular season of the NFL kicks off with the last two defending Super Bowl champs; the New Orleans Saints and reigning Super Bowl XLV champions Green Bay Packers, at their own Lambeau Field.

Speaking of which, when last we left football and the NFL, it was an icy February day at Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Blankets of snow and ice covered the ground, turning the Dallas-Fort Worth area a practically epic, pure white. Despite the weather, and the many obstacles getting to “Jerry’s World”, we along with more than 100,000 people, turned out for the game. C’mon it IS the Superbowl and there was no way fans of the Green Bay Packers or the Pittsburgh Steelers were going to let a little ice get in the way.

Battling the weather, the roads and the lines were more than worth it. Sitting in that stadium, we were reminded of just how lucky we are. Being with great friends, let alone a part of football history, made it one of the most memorable nights of our lives. In honor of the kick-off of the 2011-2012 football season, we pulled out some of our favorite Super Bowl pictures. Enjoy and here’s to another amazing football season.
