SOLD? The $150 Million Spelling Mansion Reportedly Sells To Formula One Racing Heiress

The Holmby Hills Spelling Estate, a.k.a. the highest price home in the country, (listed at $150 Million) is reportedly in the process of being sold to 22 year old, Formula One racing heiress Petra Ecclestone. The Wall Street Journal is reporting the heiress is in the process of closing on the 57,000 sq. ft. estate built by late TV tycoon, Aaron Spelling. As of right now, the actual buying price of the home known as “Spelling Manor” is not being disclosed, but during the listing process, Mrs. Spelling reportedly refused to budge from the $150 million dollar price tag. The final numbers on this should be very interesting. Mrs. Spelling is decling comment.

About the Owner: Candy Spelling is the wife of late mega TV Producer, Aaron Spelling. Aaron was responsible for decades of pop culture defining television with shows including: Charlie’s Angels, Dynasty, Mod Squad, The Love Boat, Beverly Hills 90210 (which starred his daughter, Tori Spelling), Melrose Place and Starsky and Hutch, among others.

About the Buyer: Petra Ecclestone is the heiress to billionaire father, Bernie Ecclestone’s Formula One racing empire. According to the Wall Street Journal, Petra plans on spending her time both in her home in the U.K. and her new home in Holmby Hills. Petra is engaged to be married to businessman James Stunt.
